Lauren Carmin, Communications Assistant
Lauren Carmin joined the Institute in October 2007. Lauren is the primary contact for general information requests from the public. She manages the Institute’s publications and periodicals and coordinates electronic and hard copy dissemination of Guttmacher materials. Lauren also tracks outreach efforts and provides general support to all members of the Communications team. Previously, she worked at Deutsch Communications Group, where she assisted in implementing cause marketing and public relations campaigns for nonprofit groups. Lauren has a B.A. from The College of New Jersey, where she majored in communication studies and minored in professional writing.
